About Alum Rock Trustee Area 3

My District

District 3 of Alum Rock is vibrant and includes areas like Lake Cunningham Park, all areas south King and Story Road that includes the Tropicana/Lanai Neighborhood Association (of which I am a Board Member), the former Renaissance at Fischer and new Adelante next to Hillview Library, and many more! It also includes Ocala STEAM Academy, Hubbard Media Arts Academy, and formerly Adelante.

You may be wondering why the map looks like this! Especially why the Foxdale Village Apartments were excluded from Area 3. The Alum Rock Governing Board voted this summer for the quickest redistricting we have seen in our area. In just a few months we have gone from a voting at-large for all seats at Alum Rock to voting for a single Trustee. The maps were drawn and decided to be in place for the 2026 election by the current elected board some of whom are now seeking re-election.
